This past quarter, something powerful happened at Heartbeat.
51 percent of the families we served were first time moms!!71 percent were experiencing their very first out of hospital birth!!
Those numbers matter!
They mean more families are stepping into birth informed, supported, and confident in their choices. They mean fear is being replaced with education. They mean birth is being reclaimed one family at a time.
Choosing a different path for birth often takes courage. For many of these families, it meant unlearning what they had been told birth had to look like and discovering what it could look like instead.
We are deeply honored to walk alongside families in that first experience. To teach. To support. To protect peace. To build trust. To witness strength being born right alongside babies.
This quarter set new records for us, but more importantly, it reaffirmed our purpose.
Birth belongs to families. And we are grateful to serve those who are brave enough to reclaim it.🤍
